<p>The Qaidam Basin Catchment is located in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang and Jiuquan City in Gansu Province. The specific location is 34°41′26″N-39°20′4″N, 87°48′38″E-99°19′9″E. The catchment area is 275,753.06 km² (Albers). The elevation of the catchment area is divided into 9 categories. The Qaidam River, Golmud River and Hongshui River are the main rivers that nourish the oases in the Qaidam Basin. Their lengths are 477.00 km, 421.72 km and 309.53 km respectively. The geographical location of the oasis in the Qaidam Basin is 35°51'55"N-39°7'1"N, 88°21'00"E-98°36'55"E. The Qaidam Basin oasis consists of 45 oases with a total area of 39,051.06 km2, accounting for 14.16% of the total area of the catchment area. Among them, the largest oasis area is 30,647.27 km2, accounting for 78.48% of the total oasis area. The dataset includes the following contents: (1) basin catchment boundary data;(2) oasis boundary data;(3) water system data; and (4) catchment elevation classification data. The dataset consists of 62 data files stored in.kmz,.shp and.tif data formats, with a data volume of 129 MB (compressed into 5 files, 53.2 MB). </p>
