<p>Yiwu Oasis is located in Yiwu County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It consists of 13 scattered small oases, with geographical locations ranging from 43°02′53″N to 43°51′31″N, 94°05′46″E to 95°20′56″E. The total area of the oasis is 499.00 km² (Albers projection) and the total circumference is 481.13 km (Lambert projection). Among them, the largest oasis has an area of 283.11 km² and a circumference of 183.93 km. The rivers that nourish the Yiwu Oasis mainly include the Altun Kundo River, Yiwu River and Tuergan River, with their main streams of 76.44 km, 49.97 km and 35.47 km respectively. The geographical location of the mountainous part of the Yiwu River Basin is 42°58′35″N-43°39′58″N, 93°46′05″E-94°53′50″E. Its area is 3,203.69 km2, which is 6.4 times the total area of Yiwu Oasis. The mountainous parts of the Yiwu River Basin are divided into 9 categories based on elevation. The dataset is developed based on the 2020 Google Earth meter-level resolution image, combined with ASTER GDEM 30m data and measured data. The data set includes: (1) boundary data of Yiwu Oasis;(2) water system data that nourish the oasis;(3) boundary data of mountainous parts of Yiwu River Basin; and (4) elevation classification data of mountainous parts of Yiwu River Basin. The dataset is stored in.kmz,.shp, and.tif data formats and consists of 62 data files with a data volume of 7.88 MB (compressed into 5 files, 5.31 MB). </p>
