<p>The Tashkurgan River Basin is located in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County and Akto County in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The specific geographical location is 36°42 '58 "N-38°17' 2" N, 74°26 '43 "E-76°13' 2" E. The basin area is 11,551.06 km² (Albers). The terrain height in the basin is divided into 11 categories. The Tashkurgan River and its tributaries are the main water source that nourishes the Tashkurgan oasis. The length of the main stream of the Tashkurgan River is 272.60 kilometers. The Tashkurgan River Oasis is located in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County, with a specific geographical location of 37°4'58"N-38°12'4"N, 74°54'47"E-75°40'42"E. The oasis consists of 34 scattered oases with a total area of 416.63 km2, accounting for 3.61% of the basin area. Among them, the largest oasis area is 281.18 km2, accounting for 67.49% of the total oasis area. The data set includes: (1) oasis boundary data;(2) water system data that nourish the oasis;(3) watershed boundary data; and (4) watershed elevation classification data. The dataset consists of 66 data files stored in.kmz,.shp and.tif data formats, with a data volume of 111 MB (compressed into 5 files, 8.49 MB). </p>
