<p>The Irtysh River is an international river. In this data set, the Ertysh River Oasis only includes part in China. It is located in Altay Administrative Region and Beitun City of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The geographical location of the Ertysh River Oasis is 45°58′06″N-48°23′18″N, 85°31′35″E-90°59′29″E. In 2020, the Ertysh River Oasis consisted of 78 oases with a total area of 12,101.72 km2 (Albers). Among them, the largest oasis covers an area of 10,051.42 km2. The main rivers that nourish the Ertysh River oasis are the Ertysh River and the Ulungu River, with their main streams of 619.12 km and 554.93 km respectively. The geographical location of the mountainous part of the Ertysh River Basin is 45°46′38″N-49°11′37″N, 85°31′35″E-91°55′39″E. The mountainous part of the basin covers an area of 65,845,00 km2. The elevations of the mountainous part of the basin are divided into 8 categories. The data set includes the following data: (1) oasis boundary data;(2) water system data that nourishes the oasis;(3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the basin; and (4) elevation classification data of the mountainous part of the basin. The data set consists of 68 data files stored in.kmz,.shp and.tif data formats, with a data volume of 133 MB (compressed into 5 files, 58 MB). </p>
