<p>Houtao Plain Oasis is part of the Hetao Plain Oasis. Its geographical location is 39°17 '2″N-41°19' 20″N, 106°10 '15″E-110°12' 42″E, covering parts of Bayannur City, Ordos City, Baotou City, Wuhai City, and Alxa League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The Houtao Plain Oasis was formed by the alluvial and siltation of the Yellow River. It is the easternmost oasis in China, bordering Langshan in the north, Yinchuan Plain Oasis in the south, Ulan Buhe Desert in the southwest, and Baotou in the east. The area of the Houtao Plain oasis is 19,989.11 km2 (Albers). Houtao Plain Oasis Data was completed based on Google Earth images (2020) combined with relevant data. The dataset is stored in.kmz and.shp data formats and consists of 17 data files with a data volume of 28.5 MB (compressed into 2 files, 11.4 MB). </p>
