<p>The Kashgar River Basin is the catchment area of the Kashgar River and its upstream tributaries. The basin is located at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains, with about 96% of the area in China (located in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region), 3% in Kyrgyzstan, and 1% in Tajikistan. The specific geographical location is 38°08'42"N-40°39'49"N, 73°02'59"E-78°02'35"E. The basin area is 67,850.64 km² (2020, Albers projection); the basin boundary length is 3,011.2 km (Lambert projection). The main rivers in the Kashgar River Basin are Kashgar River, Gezi River, Chakmak River, etc., with main streams of 497.48 km, 357.34 km, and 230.74 km respectively. The dataset was developed based on Google earth remote sensing images. The data set includes: (1) Kashgar River Basin boundary data;(2) Kashgar River Basin water system data. The dataset is stored in.kmz and.shp data formats and consists of 26 data files with a data volume of 105.00 MB (compressed into 3 files, 70.40 MB). </p>
