<p>This dataset is 90m elevation clipping data within the five Central Asian countries of China and five Central Asian countries. It is based on the CGIAR-CSI90m SRTM data (version 4) and obtained through clipping processing on the boundaries of the five Central Asian countries and Xinjiang. The spatial resolution is 90m, and the projection coordinates are GCS-WGS84. The data is stored in the ENVI standard format raster data format. </p>
Data comes from SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Data from the Space Advisory Group of the International Agricultural Research Advisory Group (CGIAR-CSI)(http://srtm.csi.cgiar.org/). The SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Data dataset (version 4) is based on level 3 arc-second SRTM data released by NASA and distributed via ftp access by the U.S. Geological Survey (ftp//edcsgs9.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/srtm/version1/). The CGIAR-CSI SRTM dataset post-processes NASA data to "fill" no data gaps through interpolation techniques. The result is seamless and complete coverage of global elevations. DEM data from Central Asia and Xinjiang are downloaded in Geo TIFF file format with a block size of 5°×5°, and the data projection coordinates are GCS-WGS84; the data is mosaic and clipped subset by roi processing in ENVI5.0, the background value is set to 0, and ENVI format data is generated through format conversion.
The accuracy of the data remains unchanged.
