This dataset contains one digital elevation data of the Amu Darya-Syr Darya-Chu River current-producing area; this data is based on CGIAR-CSI 90m SRTM data (version 4), obtained through reprojection and format conversion. The spatial resolution is 90 meters, the projection coordinates are Pulkovo_1942_Transverse_Mercator, and the data is stored in img format. The data reflects the elevation distribution and topography within the Amu Darya-Syr Darya-Chu River current-producing area in Central Asia.

Data comes from SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Data from the Space Advisory Group of the International Agricultural Research Advisory Group (CGIAR-CSI)(http://srtm.csi.cgiar.org/). The SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Data dataset (version 4) is based on level 3 arc-second SRTM data released by NASA and distributed via ftp access by the U.S. Geological Survey (ftp//edcsgs9.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/srtm/version1/). The CGIAR-CSI SRTM dataset post-processes NASA data to "fill" no data gaps through interpolation techniques. The result is seamless and complete coverage of global elevations. Download DEM data from the Amu Darya-Syr Darya-Chu River runoff area in a 5°×5° block size and Geo TIFF file format, with the data geographical coordinate system-WGS84; use the ARCGIS software tool to reproject the downloaded data to generate Pulkovo_1942_Transverse_Mercator data, and the resulting data is stored in img format.
Data classification meets the needs of SWAT simulation, has high accuracy, clear terrain and water system delineation, and accurate elevation distribution.
