Datasets description

<p>This dataset provides monthly mean soil moisture data in the Aral Sea Basin from January to December 2019. The spatial resolution is 0.25°×0.25°, the temporal resolution is month, the projection coordinates are GCS_WGS_1984, and the value of each pixel is the average monthly soil moisture. Once a month, a total of 12 grid images are available. </p>

Data source description

Data comes from MOD16 Global Soil Moisture Product. Soil moisture data: disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets? keywords=soil%20moisture%20L4&page=1&source=Models%2FAnalyses%20MERRA-2

Data processing method

Add the daily soil moisture data to get the sum of the monthly soil moisture, and divide it by the number of days to get the average monthly soil moisture.

Data quality description

The spatial resolution is 0.25°×0.25°, the temporal resolution is 8 days or months, the value of each pixel is the average monthly soil moisture, and the projection coordinates are GCS_WGS_1984.
