One of the main directions of Kyrgyzstan's environmental policy is the establishment and development of specially protected natural areas, which plays an important role in environmental security in all regions of the country. These nature reserves play an important role in ensuring environmental security in all regions across the country. Unsustainable social and economic changes in Kyrgyzstan and regions have increased pressure on the natural environment. Intensive land development, plowing, soil erosion and pollution have exacerbated the degradation of natural landscape in Kyrgyzstan. In this case, it is necessary to formulate a strategy for the further development of protected areas in Kyrgyzstan. The further development of protected areas in Kyrgyzstan requires the search for new management methods and models. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of the nature reserve system in Kyrgyzstan and determine new management methods and models.
