<p>This book systematically introduces the ecological value and biodiversity protection practices of nature reserves in Uzbekistan. The content covers the hydrological regulation function of the forest ecosystem (1 hectare of forest purifies 18 million cubic meters of air per year), the protection of endangered species (species such as Turkestan tigers and Asian cheetahs that have disappeared in the past 50 years), and the use of wild germplasm resources in agricultural breeding. Application cases in breeding (such as crossing wild cotton and cultivated cotton to breed a wilt-resistant variety "Tashkent"). The strategic significance of nature reserves as biological gene banks for maintaining ecological balance and promoting sustainable development is particularly emphasized. </p>
