This monograph focuses on the study of Monitiales fungi in the class Hyphomycetes, and systematically compiles complete taxonomic data of 348 species of fungi belonging to 50 genera in the Monitiaceae family in Kazakhstan. The study not only provided detailed species identification characteristics and geographical distribution information in Kazakhstan, but also specifically recorded the growth characteristics of these fungi under pure culture conditions, providing a key experimental basis for pathogen identification. Studies have pointed out that this type of fungi contains not only important plant pathogens and human/animal pathogens, but also potential strains that can produce physiologically active substances such as antibiotics and auxins. At the same time, a large number of saprotic species participate in the decomposition of soil organic matter and the improvement of fertility. The book is equipped with 115 fine microstructure maps and 5 classification comparison tables. Its academic value radiates to the entire Central Asian region and international research fields. It is an important tool in the fields of mycology, plant pathology and microbial resource development.
