<p>This monograph systematically collects taxonomic data of 111 species of Myxomycota and 136 species and 16 forms of Oomycetes and Chytridiomycetes in Kazakhstan. Studies have pointed out that fungi such as the Oomycetes contain many important plant pathogens (such as species that cause epidemic diseases such as late blight and downy mildew), while slime molds are mainly involved in organic matter decomposition and soil improvement. The book records in detail the morphological characteristics of each species, their distribution points in Kazakhstan and their global geographical pattern, and provides a complete classification and retrieval system. Its academic value radiates to the entire Central Asian and international research fields, providing important scientific basis for plant disease prevention and soil microbial research. </p>
