<p>This data records earthquake events that occurred in Tajikistan and its neighboring countries (such as Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, China Xinjiang, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, etc.) from 1906 to 2020 (most of the data are mainly concentrated from 1973 to 2020). There are a total of 8140 records. There are 77 data before 1973. The most recorded data is in 2008. The data is stored in three formats: .xlsx\.csv\.shp. The dataset contains 22 fields (columns). It is mainly divided into the following types of information: - - Temporal and spatial information: time (month, month, hour, minute and second), latitude (latitude), longitude (depth), place (location description). - - Earthquake parameters: mag (magnitude), magType (magnitude type), type (type). - - Metadata and quality control: id (event ID), net (network), updated (update time), nst (number of stations), gap (azimuth gap), rms (residual), etc. - - Source and status: status, locationSource, magSource. </p>
Data is mainly collected and released by the American Seismological Network (USGS).
