Data source description

The test was carried out in 2024 at the National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of Farmland Ecosystem in Aksu Oasis, Xinjiang. The test soil column (inner diameter 12.5 cm and height 12.5 cm) was made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes and pipe caps. The test soil was taken from sand dunes in the upper reaches of the Tarim River (40°39′20′N, 80°54′44′E). The test set up 22 salt-containing treatments, with 3 replicates for each treatment.
