<p>This book systematically studies the terrain evolution process of the Sayan-Tuva Highlands. The core contents include: Quaternary glaciation: Divide three ice ages: the Late Pleistocene (Azas Glacial Age), the Middle Pleistocene (Kajem Glacial Age) and the Early Pleistocene (Qiwi Glacial Age), and analyze the extent and retreat mechanism of the ice sheet. Volcanic activity: Study young volcanic groups such as the Kropotkin Volcano and Peljepolic Volcano to reveal the interaction between basalt lava flows and glaciers. Neotectonic movement: Explore the impact of fault zones on terrain reshaping, such as the reorganization of water systems in the Yenisei and Angara River basins. Application value: Provide geological basis for mineral development (asbestos, graphite, gold, etc.) and hydropower projects (Angara-Yenisei Cascade Hydropower Station) in South Siberia. </p>
