<p>This monograph systematically completed the catalog of Ascomycetes fungi in Kazakhstan, focusing on the inclusion of 4 orders of the class Loculoascomycetes (Dothidaeles, Pleosporales, Microthyriales, and Hysteriales). It describes in detail the classification characteristics and geographical distribution of their species in Kazakhstan at the order, family, and genus levels, and includes Latin descriptions of 7 newly discovered species. Studies have pointed out that most of these fungi are saprotic organisms that participate in the decomposition of organic matter in nature, and some parasitic species can cause harm to agricultural and forestry crops. The book is equipped with 28 illustrations, 4 tables and 32 references, providing important taxonomic tools for researchers and educators in the fields of mycology, plant pathology, and agriculture and forestry. </p>
