%X This book is a regional university textbook on the physical geography of Asia (part outside the Soviet Union). It systematically introduces the natural conditions, terrain structure, climate characteristics, water systems, soil vegetation and natural resources of foreign Asia. The book is divided into chapters according to geographical regions, covering major regions such as Southwest Asia (Near East), West Asia Plateau, Central Asia (including Xizang), East Asia (China, Korea, Japan) and South Asia (Indian Peninsula, Indochina, and Malay Islands), and analyzing the natural geographical characteristics and regional differentiation laws of each region. A detailed gazetteer and multiple color maps (including structural maps, geological maps, soil maps, vegetation maps, ethnic distribution maps, etc.) are attached to the back of the book, which both serve as a teaching reference and a desk reference book.
