%X The book provides a geobotany description of Moldavia's grassland, coastal, aquatic and salt-marsh vegetation, and provides characteristics of vascular plant and moss species. For each species, its systematic location, distribution within and outside Moldavia are indicated, brief morphological characteristics are given, and the habitat, relationship to plant communities, biological characteristics (timing and duration of flowering and fruiting, seeds and methods of nutrient reproduction and dissemination), beneficial and harmful characteristics, and possibilities of utilization in the national economy are described. Information on fossil species found in Moldavia is also provided for some genera. This book is aimed at biologists and a broad audience.
