AB  - This report systematically introduces the hydrological characteristics and engineering status of water intake nodes of main river irrigation systems in Osh Oblast, Kyrgyzstan. The first part describes in detail the structural parameters and operating characteristics of water intake nodes in irrigation systems of six rivers, including Shahimardan River, Soh River, Isfara River, Khoja-Bakirgan River, Kara-Darya River and Abhir-Sai River; the second part evaluates the technical status, project maintenance needs and economic benefits of the existing water intake nodes in agricultural irrigation, focusing on analyzing the use of new water intake facilities (such as KCP type) on improving water resource utilization efficiency. The report provides technical basis for the optimization of regional irrigation systems and the reasonable allocation of water resources.
