Subsequently, other researchers naturally joined in the development of this project, and their results concerning the Upper Paleozoic flora of the basin have also been taken into account in the present work. The foundation of this study consists of the paleobotanical observations and collections made by the author during the course of the above-mentioned stratigraphic investigations (in 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, and 1935) at natural outcrops and mining excavations. The collected specimens are housed in the Geological Sciences Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (abbreviated in the text and plates as “IGN”) under catalogue numbers 2276, 2340, 2492, 2404, and 2761. A portion of the material examined came from the collections of the F. N. Chernyshev Museum in Leningrad and is designated in the text as “TsGM.” In addition, I used a large number of specimens provided by fellow geological survey workers who had worked in the Kuznetsk Basin, including: I. M. Belyanin (No. 2804), P. N. Vasyukhtsev (No. 2808), K. F. Grasikevich (No. 2802), T. P. Kochetkov (Nos. 2799 and 2761), O. V. Ponova (No. 2809), G. P. Radchenko (No. 2803), A. P. Rotai (Nos. 2799 and 2761), and V. I. Skok (No. 2795). Individual specimens were also supplied by T. S. Bovina, E. N. Yegorov, V. V. Monrilisky, V. A. Orestov, B. M. Serdiyensky, V. I. Chereshev, and others. All of these materials, with the exception of a few specimens, are likewise preserved in the Geological Sciences Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude to all the colleagues mentioned above, both for providing, at times, un DB - EGIDC UR - https://data.dcxjegi.cn/portal/metadata/928ab1e1-b110-40b9-bed3-7f3a5308f85d ER -
