%X This book is a natural geography monograph with tropical islands in the Pacific Ocean as its main research object. It systematically discusses the natural characteristics, formation mechanisms and spatial differentiation laws of various islands. The book is divided into two parts: the first part classifies the islands according to genetic types, and respectively discusses biogenic islands (atolls), volcanic islands, geosyncline islands and New Guinea Island, which is a typical continental island; the second part analyzes the spatial differentiation laws of the island landscape from the perspective of geographical zoning and non-zonal factors, and discusses the utilization of natural resources and environmental conditions.
