AB  - This book examines the geological, climatic and biological factors of soil salt accumulation, as well as the impact of human production activities on the redistribution of salt in soil. The distribution of saline soil in Kazakhstan was determined, existing saline soil classifications were evaluated and compared, a new genetic classification was proposed, and data on the properties of scattered parts of alkaline earth were provided for the first time. The geographical distribution of salt accumulation was studied, four salt lake geochemical provinces were divided, and the prospects of developing irrigation in Kazakhstan by using internal water sources and diverting runoff from some Siberian rivers to the south were analyzed.
