%X This book discusses the ice movement of typical glaciers in the Tianshan Mountains of Central Asia, as well as the ice movement mechanism and several aspects of fluctuations in its velocity field. The influence of external and internal factors on the movement of ice bodies is revealed. The role of motion speed in glacier mass exchange and dynamic processes is analyzed. The reasons leading to the catastrophic advance of the dendritic glaciers in the Tianshan Mountains were studied.
