AB  - The Geographical Atlas of Kazakhstan is a comprehensive atlas that systematically reflects the natural and social and economic development of Kazakhstan. It was originally published in Kazakh, Russian, and English from 2003 to 2004. This reprint greatly supplements and adds Turkish, and is published in four languages. The atlas follows the direction guided by the "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy and is divided into two parts: the first part presents the natural overview of the country and various natural factors, and the second part expounds the main social and economic indicators of states and regions, striving to reveal the regular connection between natural factors and social and economic development, and points out ways to rationally utilize natural resources. The natural map is arranged from the whole to the part and gradually, covering the special topics of topography, geological structure and seismic zoning, mineral resources and mineral water, climate, surface water, soil, vegetation and animal world, etc., all of which are drawn according to the latest data. The atlas also contains many features, such as the route map of the "Silk Road," the first compilation of data on the history of geographical research from ancient times to the present, administrative divisions and statistics of the fourteen oblasts, and detailed socio-economic development of the fourteen oblasts and the capital cities of Astana and Almaty, and reflects for the first time the dynamic changes in the ecological situation of the country. All place names adopt the transliteration scheme officially approved by Kazakhstan. The book is open to teachers, students and readers from primary and secondary schools to colleges and universities. It also makes it easy for foreign investors to understand Kazakhstan's natural resources.
