AB  - This document is an appendix to the technical specifications for comprehensive engineering geological mapping, which systematically defines the condition symbols, terminology concepts and classification systems used for large-scale specialized engineering geological maps and sections. The content covers the genetic type classification and graphic methods of Holocene and Pliocene sediments, lithologic composition symbols, representation of geological structure elements, geomorphological characteristics and water system markings, various engineering geological phenomena (such as landslides, landslides, debris flows, karst, erosion, etc.) and the identification of main control factors for development, engineering geological zoning principles and site suitability evaluation methods, as well as the expression specifications for actual observation data and engineering facilities. The appendix aims to provide a unified and standardized visual language and technical basis for engineering geological surveys, cartography and report preparation, and to ensure the scientificity and comparability of map information.
