%X This research report describes the scientific and technological progress in the field of land improvement in the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic and its forecast for the development of irrigated agriculture. Based on published research results, the ecological problems faced by water conservancy systems and the environmental protection measures being implemented are described. This paper analyzes the utilization status of land, water and other resources in Kyrgyzstan, and points out ways for its future development.The report describes the current status of land irrigation investment benefits and points out the fundamental ways to improve the efficiency of investment and utilization in irrigated agriculture in the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic.
