    "ds_abstract": "<p>对库兹涅茨克盆地含煤沉积地层学的以古生物学为基础的专门研究，最初是由我本人根据苏联科学院地质研究所的委托，并部分根据地质委员会的委托，从1928年开始，历时数年进行的。后来，这项课题的研发工作自然也有其他研究人员参与，他们在研究该盆地上古生界植物群方面取得的成果，在此也得到了考虑。\n本研究工作的基础是笔者在上述地层研究过程中（1928、1929、1930、1931和1935年）于天然露头和坑道工程处所进行的古植物学观察及收集的材料。采集的标本分别收藏于苏联科学院地质科学研究所（在正文和图版中简称“ИГН”），编号为2276、2340、2492、2404、2761。部分样品研究了来自列宁格勒的Ф. Н. 切尔内绍夫博物馆的藏品，这些样品在文中标记为“ЦГМ”。此外，我还使用了由一些曾在库兹涅茨克盆地工作过的地质勘探同行们提供的大量标本，他们包括：И. М. 别利亚宁（编号2804）、П. Н. 瓦修赫切夫（编号2808）、К. Ф. 格拉西克维奇（编号2802）、Т. П. 科切特科夫（编号2799和2761）、О. В. 波诺娃（编号2809）、Г. П. 拉德琴科（编号2803）、А. П. 罗塔伊（编号2799和2761）、В. И. 斯科克（编号2795）。个别样品由Т. С. 博维娜、Е. Н. 叶戈罗夫、В. В. 蒙里利斯基、В. А. 奥列斯托夫、Б. М. 谢尔季延斯基、В. И. 切雷舍夫等人提供。\n所有这些材料，除少数样品外，同样收藏于苏联科学院地质科学研究所。\n我谨此机会向所有上述同行表示最诚挚的谢意，感谢他们时而提供独特的材料，也感谢他们许多人愿意与我分享关于地层顺序的见解，这在涉及研究尚不充分的区域或植物群特征尚不明确的剖面时尤为重要。\n最后，我必须向А. Н. 克里什托弗维奇教授表示特别的感谢，感谢他在审阅本手稿时提出的宝贵意见和建议。\n毫无疑问，即使以宽容的眼光来评判，本工作中也会发现一些疏漏和不足之处，在研究库兹涅茨克盆地上古生界植物群如此庞大且复杂的材料时，这是不可避免的。尽管如此，我坚信，考虑到所有积累的材料，这样一项工作对于推动该盆地更详细的地层学研究以及在地质勘探工作中广泛利用古植物学数据是十分必要的，并且深切希望付出的劳动能带来应有的益处。\n关于库兹涅茨克盆地上古生界植物群的研究工作分为两部分。第一部分致力于描述上古生界植物群。第二部分包含关于该盆地地层的各章，详细分析了地层划分方案、盆地含煤沉积的形成历史、将库兹涅茨克型上古生界植物群的其他产地剖面与库兹涅茨克盆地剖面对比研究，以及该植物群与戈尔达瓦伊期、卡塔埃皮斯期和萨尔杰罗伊斯期植物群的对比关系。最后，最后一章涉及该盆地上古生界植物群类型及其时代问题。\n此处仅刊印本工作的第一部分，即纯古生物学部分；第二部分在篇幅上几乎与第一部分相当，但由于出版困难，未能同时付印。\n本工作完成于1940年，汇集了截至1940年5月我们对该盆地上古生界植物群的认识。为避免出版进一步延误，未将作者此后积累的新近材料纳入。这些材料（新物种和新产地）本质上不会改变本著作的内容，可待日后另行发表，正如《苏联古生物学》出版计划所预期的那样。</p>",

            "title": "Soviet paleontology",
            "ds_abstract": "Special paleontologically based investigations of the stratigraphy of the coal-bearing deposits of the Kuznetsk Basin were first undertaken by the author on behalf of the Geological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, and partly on behalf of the Geological Committee, beginning in 1928 and continuing for several years. Subsequently, other researchers naturally joined in the development of this project, and their results concerning the Upper Paleozoic flora of the basin have also been taken into account in the present work.\r\n\r\nThe foundation of this study consists of the paleobotanical observations and collections made by the author during the course of the above-mentioned stratigraphic investigations (in 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, and 1935) at natural outcrops and mining excavations. The collected specimens are housed in the Geological Sciences Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (abbreviated in the text and plates as “IGN”) under catalogue numbers 2276, 2340, 2492, 2404, and 2761. A portion of the material examined came from the collections of the F. N. Chernyshev Museum in Leningrad and is designated in the text as “TsGM.” In addition, I used a large number of specimens provided by fellow geological survey workers who had worked in the Kuznetsk Basin, including: I. M. Belyanin (No. 2804), P. N. Vasyukhtsev (No. 2808), K. F. Grasikevich (No. 2802), T. P. Kochetkov (Nos. 2799 and 2761), O. V. Ponova (No. 2809), G. P. Radchenko (No. 2803), A. P. Rotai (Nos. 2799 and 2761), and V. I. Skok (No. 2795). Individual specimens were also supplied by T. S. Bovina, E. N. Yegorov, V. V. Monrilisky, V. A. Orestov, B. M. Serdiyensky, V. I. Chereshev, and others.\r\n\r\nAll of these materials, with the exception of a few specimens, are likewise preserved in the Geological Sciences Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.\r\n\r\nI would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude to all the colleagues mentioned above, both for providing, at times, unique materials and for sharing their views on stratigraphic succession. Such assistance was especially valuable when dealing with insufficiently studied regions or stratigraphic sections whose floral characteristics had not yet been clearly established.\r\n\r\n段落 5\r\n\r\nFinally, I must extend special thanks to Professor A. N. Khristoforovich for his valuable comments and suggestions offered during his review of this manuscript.\r\n\r\nThere is no doubt that, even under a charitable assessment, certain omissions and shortcomings will be found in the present work. Such imperfections are unavoidable when dealing with the vast and highly complex body of material represented by the Upper Paleozoic flora of the Kuznetsk Basin. Nevertheless, I am firmly convinced that, in light of all the accumulated evidence, a study of this kind is essential for advancing more detailed stratigraphic investigations of the basin and for promoting the broad application of paleobotanical data in geological exploration. I sincerely hope that the effort invested in this work will yield appropriate benefits.\r\n\r\nThe study of the Upper Paleozoic flora of the Kuznetsk Basin is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the description of the Upper Paleozoic flora itself. The second part contains chapters on the stratigraphy of the basin, including a detailed analysis of stratigraphic subdivision schemes, the history of the formation of the basin's coal-bearing deposits, comparative studies between sections containing the Kuznetsk-type Upper Paleozoic flora and the corresponding sections of the Kuznetsk Basin, as well as comparisons between this flora and those of the Gordavai, Kataepis, and Sarjerois stages. The final chapter addresses the nature and age of the Upper Paleozoic floral type represented in the basin.\r\n\r\nOnly the first part of the present work, namely the purely paleontological section, is published here. The second part is nearly equal in length to the first, but owing to publishing difficulties it could not be issued simultaneously.\r\n\r\nThis work was completed in 1940 and summarizes our knowledge of the Upper Paleozoic flora of the basin as of May 1940. In order to avoid further delays in publication, newly accumulated materials obtained by the author after that date were not incorporated. These materials, including new species and new localities, do not fundamentally alter the contents of the present work and may be published separately at a later date, as anticipated in the publication program of Paleontology of the USSR.",
