    "ds_abstract": "<p>这部两卷本出版物（其第一卷已于1950年出版）旨在简要地向各行各业的植物学家和生产工作者介绍苏联植物原料的丰富性与多样性，指明原料学的进一步发展道路，并指出满足国内工农业原料需求的可能性。\n第一卷中，除了米·米·伊林的专题论文《植物原料的自然来源及其分布规律》外，还收录了描述苏联已利用或未来有利用前景的主要植物原料类群的文章。这些植物原料类群被归入技术植物部分，即那些需要经过一定工艺加工才能利用的植物。\n第二卷收录了天然植物的综述，即那些可以直接使用或仅需轻微加工即可作为原料来源的植物。这类植物包括食品植物、饲料植物、含维生素植物和药用植物，它们能提供极其多样的产品与商品。第二卷中还收录了帕·阿·亚基莫夫的论文《植物原料的综合利用问题》，该文论证了为降低相应商品生产成本而全面综合利用植物原料的必要性。\n摆在苏联科学家面前的任务是复杂的：需要在短时间内发现具有价值的植物，以便用经济成本低廉的原料更广泛地保障国内工农业需求，从而充分满足劳动人民的物质需要。苏联科学院植物研究所植物资源部，与苏联科学院各共和国分院及分支机构、各行业研究所及生产组织一起，将此项任务作为首要且最重要的任务，并将其置于统一的科研及国家经济计划框架内解决。为此制定了一系列措施以及公布成果的连续出版计划。\n在第一卷前言中已指出，其内容只是对我国植物资源的简要介绍。两卷本仅仅是多卷本《苏联植物资源》的先行之作。这部新的大型著作应力求详尽，并成为专家及规划机构的案头工具书。因此，期望有尽可能多的苏联植物学家参与其撰写。\n而对于广大的苏联公众，目前至少需要一部简要的出版物。正是为了满足这些需求，本参考书《苏联植物原料》才应运而生</p>",

            "title": "Soviet plant materials",
            "ds_abstract": "This two-volume publication, the first volume of which appeared in 1950, is intended to provide botanists and production specialists of various fields with a concise introduction to the richness and diversity of the plant raw materials of the Soviet Union, to indicate the future directions of raw-material studies, and to demonstrate the possibilities for satisfying the raw-material requirements of the nation’s industry and agriculture.\r\n\r\nThe first volume, in addition to the thematic article The Natural Sources of Plant Raw Materials and the Laws Governing Their Distribution by M. M. Il’in, includes papers describing the principal groups of plant raw materials that are already utilized in the Soviet Union or hold promise for future utilization. These groups belong to the category of technical plants, that is, plants that require a certain degree of industrial processing before they can be used.\r\n\r\nThe second volume contains reviews of natural plants that can be used directly or require only minimal processing before serving as sources of raw materials. Such plants include food plants, forage plants, vitamin-bearing plants, and medicinal plants, all of which provide an extraordinarily wide range of products and commodities. The second volume also contains the paper On the Complex Utilization of Plant Raw Materials by P. A. Yakimov, which substantiates the necessity of the comprehensive utilization of plant raw materials as a means of reducing the production costs of corresponding commodities.\r\n\r\nThe task facing Soviet scientists is a complex one: within a short period of time, it is necessary to discover valuable plant resources capable of providing broader supplies of inexpensive raw materials for the needs of national industry and agriculture and thereby fully satisfying the material requirements of working people. The Department of Plant Resources of the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, together with the republican academies and branches of the Academy of Sciences, specialized research institutes, and production organizations, regards this task as one of primary and utmost importance and seeks to solve it within the framework of a unified scientific research and national economic plan. To this end, a series of measures has been developed, along with a continuous publication program for disseminating research results.\r\n\r\nAs was already noted in the preface to the first volume, its contents constitute only a brief introduction to the plant resources of our country. The two-volume edition serves merely as a precursor to the multi-volume work Plant Resources of the Soviet Union. This new large-scale publication should strive for comprehensiveness and become an indispensable reference work for specialists and planning organizations. Accordingly, it is desirable that as many Soviet botanists as possible participate in its preparation.\r\n\r\nAt the same time, the broader Soviet public is in need of at least one concise publication on this subject. It is precisely to meet this need that the present reference work, Plant Raw Materials of the Soviet Union, has been prepared.",
