作者于2014年6月-10月间在中国新疆天山天池布置3个监测断面（HN、HZ、HB），每个检测断面包括3个监测点。其中HN为入水口区域，HZ为池中心区域，HB为游客聚集区和出水区。在检测期间的每月中下旬，分别选择检测点距表层0.5m起，以1m为间隔，至水平面下20米，垂直检测内容包括：水体温度、电导率、溶解氧、pH值、叶绿素a和蓝绿藻细胞密度。数据集包括：（1）天池采样点分布地理信息系统数据；（2）天池不同水深水温、溶解氧、电导率、PH值、叶绿素a浓度和蓝绿藻细胞密度在分别在HN、HZ、HB平均垂直剖面变化数据。该数据集存储为.shp和.xlsx格式，数据压缩为29KB。该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《湖泊科学》2015年27卷第6期。
