艾比湖流域绿洲位于新疆维吾尔自治区博尔塔拉蒙古自治州境内。它的地理位置是44°23′32″N-45°12′49″N, 80°46′24″E-83°02′35″E。该绿洲由127块绿洲组成，总面积为4,497.00 km²。艾比湖流域主要河流有博尔塔拉河、奎屯河与精河等，它们的干流长度分别为265.99 km、178.49 km和127.50 km。主要湖泊有艾比湖和赛里木湖，它们的面积分别为1,445.56 km²和464.20 km²。艾比湖流域山区部分的地理位置是43°37′47″N-45°41′19″N，79°52′54″E-85°05′24″E。其面积为26,591.07 km²。该部分流域是一个跨国流域，约99.22%的面积在中国新疆维吾尔自治区（其中，51.96%在博尔塔拉蒙古自治州，45.51%在塔城地区，2.06%在伊犁哈萨克自治州，0.41%在双河市，0.06%在克拉玛依市），0.78%的面积在哈萨克斯坦。艾比湖流域山区部分高程共划分为10种类型。该数据集基于Google Earth影像、ASTER GDEM 30 m数据、结合实测数据研发得到。数据集内容包括：（1）艾比湖流域绿洲的边界数据；（2）艾比湖流域水系数据；（3）艾比湖流域山区部分的边界数据；（4）艾比湖流域山区部分高程分类数据。数据集以.kmz，.shp与.tif数据格式存储，由75个数据文件组成，数据量为39.9 MB（压缩为6个文件，25.4 MB）。

This part of the basin is a transnational basin, with approximately 99.22% of the area in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (of which 51.96% is in Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, 45.51% is in Tacheng Prefecture, 2.06% is in Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, 0.41% is in Shuanghe City, 0.06% is in Karamay City), and 0.78% is in Kazakhstan. Some elevations in the mountainous areas of the Aibinur Lake Basin are divided into 10 types. The dataset was developed based on Google Earth images, ASTER GDEM 30m data, and measured data. The data set includes: (1) boundary data of the oasis in the Aibinur Lake Basin;(2) water system data of the Aibinur Lake Basin;(3) boundary data of the mountainous part of the Aibinur Lake Basin; and (4) elevation classification data of the mountainous part of the Aibinur Lake Basin.
