This dataset mainly includes tree ring width data from 1 point in Kazakhstan and 7 points in Kyrgyzstan (150, 151, 152, 156, 160, kyrg001, kyrg002). The data content includes sampling point coordinates, sampling start year, sampling person, sample number, year, and width value. Data is stored in.rwl format and can be opened and edited in Notepad.

Depending on the measurement system, choose the direction from bark to core or core to bark for measurement. Before measuring, calibrate the measuring instrument by aligning the reticle of the microscope with the measuring platform. When measuring, continuously adjust the sample to ensure that the width of the annual ring measurement is the vertical distance between the two annual rings, that is, the direction of movement of the measuring table and the center of the edge of the measured tree ring are on a straight line (the vertical line of the microscope cross line is always tangent to the edge of the tree ring). At the location of the ring break, avoid counting the crack gap into the ring width.
The accuracy of width data measurement is 0.01mm. The data generation process follows QX/T90-2008 "Tree Ring Sampling Specifications for Tree Ring Climate Research".
